| After reading the nutters who give this book 1 star, I decided to give it 5. Have I read the book? No. Just as it is painfully obvious the legion of 1 star moonbats didn't. I say my 5 star rating is just as valid as their 1 star. You be the judge. | | | | Good book for Christians to read Nov 3, 2009 |
| As a proud Jesus Freak, I thoroughly enjoyed Ms. Malkin's expose on all that is wrong about America. She talks about the importance of social justice. One should not be ego centric, rather they should be concerned about helping their neighbors, the orphans and the needy. She speaks about the ills of rampant greed and materialism. This ME, ME, ME mentality of coveting and unhinging your desires to go wild has led to our current problems. If we all contained our wants and desires, we wouldn't have the need to invade and exploit other countries. Overall, this is a highly recommended book for all Christians who consider the Bible the word of God. | | | | "All the Bearings of a Chronicled Crime Log" Aug 24, 2009 |
"Unhinged: Exposing Liberals gone Wild", by Michelle Malkin. Regnery Publishing, Inc., Washington, DC, 2005. ISBN 0-89526-030-1, HC 232/174. Notes 38 pgs. Index 19 pgs. 9 1/4" x 6 1/4".
The success and defense of this book "Unhinged", itself hinges upon accurate recordation of innumerable and frightful chronicled misdeeds because the book's content, if seen any other way, would be regarded as heavily inflammatory. Malkin overcame that obstacle with her Notes detailing the gutter-speak of oh-so-many American Liberals who are thoroughly and convincingly documented to be incapable of maintaining minimum levels of expected decency.
So yes, Michelle Malkin has done her job admirably well! One might expect that after certain defects are publicly exposed, charted most fairly, the defective party should/would improve oneself as much as one might wish evolution to work in a positive fashion: - however, these political liberals, part-and-parcel of the modern Democratic Machine may show Darwinism to work in reverse, reverting to more inferior grades of human behavior. The bottom-line of behavior for many greedy power-grabbing sleaze dealers is to use whatever primitive rules work best, i.e., as the childhood push & shove & kick & stomp of youngsters playing "King of the Castle". What might pass as mischievous behaviors or merely bad-pranks in undisciplined children becomes, in the minds of these less-civilized pseudo-enlightened adult liberals is plain raunchy behavior, misdemeanors and even felonies when in the form of physical assaults and wanton property destruction.
The unparalleled pernicious petty diatribes cast upon Malkin are loathsome, many unfit to print, but she forebears, revealing the precise wordings she's received from these sicko scum, men and women, as they truly were written, word for word and letter for letter.
So, what have we learned? Well -- this voluminous documented Chronicle details the myriad of names and status of those pseudo-enlightened Americans to be non-other than the core and substance of the unbridled, liberal, oft-socialistic, political Democratic National party ship having residences in Hollywood, Washington DC, and entrenched in our once finest teaching institutions. What a shame the time has to be spent on such a sordid project, but someone had to do it. The book is nicely formatted, easy to read and is akin to a crime log complete with color photos that include Howard Dean, Al Franken, Ward Churchill, Michael Moore, Kerri Dunn, Barbara Streisand, and Teresa Heinz Kerry. The only thing close would be those B & W photos posted on the North wall of local Post Offices. Glory be (is)! Is the liberal style contagious and has it infested my writings here? Heavens, I shall shower immediately. | | | | Nothin Like Girls Gone Wild!? Aug 14, 2009 |
| No pichures of any Liberals takin there Cloths off or nothin! I like Ann Coturs books better, shes cute and she tells me what to beleev. | | | | liberal puerilism documented Nov 14, 2008 |
Michelle Malkin first caught my attention on Fox News a few years ago. She was engaged in a sharp-edged debate and her brilliance and impassioned presence were riveting. (I know this is irrelevant and politically incorrect to say, but she is the cutest news journalist on television.) She's an American born Filipina.
Ms. Malkin graduated from Oberlin College, a prestigious Liberal Arts College, with a four year degree in 1993; I can find no further academic record so she is apparently an autodidact who has read widely and deeply. Her father was a doctor and her mother a teacher; she grew up in a family environment where political news was the central family interest and intense reading and discussions were the order of the day. She definitely knows her stuff.
"Unhinged" is Ms. Malkin's third book. Don't be put off by the garish and flippant cover; this is a serious and important work. Malkin has documented the rhetorical rubbish that has emanated from the liberal establishment since the Bush (43nd Pres.) years. This is not a book of merely passing interest; it will be referred to for years to come in studies of American politics.
The murderous hatred that the liberal-left developed for President Bush is phenomenal. Its grotesque irrationality went far beyond antipathy toward Bush's pursuit of the Afghanistan and Iraq wars. And its expression was not just from the unwashed lunatic fringe bloggers but to trash talk from school administrators, public officials, university professors and other respectable "pillars of society".
Ms. Malkin, for bringing this situation to public attention, now lives under threat of death. Opponents of her views illegally obtained and published her private home address, phone number, photos of her neighborhood and maps to her house on several websites. She has been forced to remove her children from school and to move her family residence.
One would expect Michelle Malkin to reply to her detractors with the same vitriol used against her, but instead she uses humor to show what fools they are. Her wit and verve cast a revealing light on the toadishness of the liberal mindset. The book is a quick read, informative, and thanks to Malkin's humor, quite enjoyable. There are 37 pages of notes, and a useful Index.
Ms. Malkin ends on a cautionary note: "The Basket Case Party has serious issues that threaten a healthy republic. We can help by holding up a mirror. But first, unhinged liberals must open their eyes." This is a first rate book and I highly recommend it. | | | Write your own review about Unhinged: Exposing Liberals Gone Wild
