| This is a great start to the New Year. I've always had good intentions every new year with resolutions and goals I'd like to achieve. In the beginning, I get to a good start and as the months pass I tend to slack from my new year's resolutions. This book is allowing me to stay on track and focused on my dreams and achieving them. Not just dreaming it, but chasing them and making them a reality. I'm moving forward in an ever-flowing pace that I did not realize I had the potential to move. Thanks to Debbie for helping me dig deep inside and bringing out all that God has blessed me with to achieve Greatness! I really needed this push and encouragement to get me going regardless what distractions that life brings. | I was looking for something focus my journaling about while I healed from a car accident. Debbie Ford connects in with all other philosophies I have experienced. The bottom line: we all want to be happy, connected in to our souls and the Universe (call it what you will - the Divine, God, Higher Power). This is not a fix it book, it is you taking time to release, let go, connect, remember, expand. Perfect all along the way. Debbie is inspiring, and I found that as I journaled before reading the focus for the day, I was already connected into that focus. She uses each week focusing through the past, present & future. I took longer than 21-days...it's not a formula, just a guide to your own unique process of connecting to and caring for your beautiful, powerful, gentle and sacred spirit; who you truly are. You'll want to give yourself 1-3 hours a day to do the exercises. Slow down, take as long as you'd like, and know you're doing it right all along the way - this is your own unique path. The book is okay and I plan on doing the program, but yikes 13+ for the Kindle edition? The book is kind of tiny and in muy opinion doesn't merit the cost. This is the very first book I've run across that is more than the 9.99 charged for best sellers.
