Kids remember this forever!  Nov 29, 2009
I'm a school social worker and I read this to 1st graders who remember the message so well after hearing the tattle tongue tale. They love the bright and vivid pictures. Great story, very useful!
Great to help break tattling  Oct 22, 2009
My 4 year old son had developed a horrible problem with tattling. We read this book solidly for a week, then off and on for the next month. It helped break his habit and also gave me a quick and handy phrase (are we having tattle tongue) when he'd slip and start to tattle.
Too long  Jul 30, 2009
I purchased this book for my Kindergarten class. The book has some great ideas on how to combat tattling, but as a read aloud, I feel it is too long and not engaging enough to get the point across. This might work better for 2nd and up.
I'm telling!  Apr 12, 2009
Reading this book to a bunch of kids started a great discussion on tattling. The story is engaging, humorous, and instructive. Children learn the difference between telling and tattling. This is so important for little ones to learn the difference. They need to come for help when someone is getting hurt, or a fire, but not because someone called them a name, or is swinging backwards!
The book came very quickly and was just as advertised.
It's ok  Feb 27, 2009
Besides the fact that the story is based on a lie that a parent tells her child, the story is ok.
